Dr. Mann once worked on my burned leg when I was 5 years old. He was going to put some medicine on the leg and I asked him if it would burn. He said, "Yes, it will burn like hell" -- and he was right! He was a great doctor, even though candid, and helped many people in the Telfair area. He had a farm and house at Jacksonville, Ga., and we thought the world of him and his work.
