Mr. Jim Lowe and Mrs. Blanche lived here. He was an entrepreneur if ever there was one. Coca-Cola Bottling, Chevrolet dealership, swimming pool, blacksmith and auto mechanics, casket maker, store owner, etc. It is said the old house burned with some Coke bottles with "Jacksonville, Ga." inscribed on their bottoms.
