Thanks so much for the tutorial on DPChallenge. I followed a link from a fellow pbaser this evening after having spent a couple hours taking 300 shots of water drops to get 5 that I'm only so-so about. You've given me new inspiration to try it again next weekend. Thanks!

MILK!!! I should have tried MILK. Excellent photos! Did you use add anything to the cream like a thickening agent? Flour or the like?

Here is my attempt with water, but the thickness and the fact that cream casts its own shadow unlike water makes it that much better! Well done! http://www.pbase.com/lundy/water_drops

This gallery is so cool! I have seen it before but didn't realize it was shot with a G-2. That's one incredible little camera when coupled with talent like yours.

I tried this once with a watermellon and a bucket of lemon jello, but the results were, uh, less pretty. Seriously, they're fascinating. Thanks for sharing.
