Hello Everyone,
As of late I have become obsessed with panoramic photography. This started when i checked out a book from the city library on the subject, and i was captivated by what was possible. Sure, one can just use a single picture and crop it to give that feel, but i want to do 120 degree shots to 360 degree. What i have learned to do is take a number of photographs and "stitch" them together digitally. It take quite a while!
The first picture is of my living room, composed of 5 pictures. You can tell that it was a first try, its very flawed. The Panoramic of the Utah State Capitol building looks much better and is composed of 21 separate pictures! As if putting them together isn't time consuming enough, taking them is a real hassle. And if you mess up on one picture, then you might as well scrap the project..
The third image is a composite of 58 images! I spent almost two hours between taking the photos and arranging them. I'm trying to find the right MM to take the pictures at to reduce the wrapping.
The Fourth Image is four photographs. I think that one turned out the best so far. At least you can't see the seems.
The Fifth is 32 Images. I had to use a clone tool in photoshop to fix some of the tears, but all-in-all, it turned out very well. I'm certainly Progressing.
