The Coombe Hill Boer War Memorial

This memorial is sited on top of the highest point of the Chilterns. It overlooks the Vale of Aylesbury and the nearby country retreat of the UK Prime Minister, Chequers. The Surrounding land is owned by the National Trust (although the memorial itself is not as stated on the view point plaque) It is free to visit.
