Do jawharps belong to the "idiophones" or to the "membranophones"?
Of course, instruments like this create the sound from itself so it should be of the first group, but the sound comes from a cut out membrane swinging, so it also belongs to the second.
On the picture we find a jaw harp with attached string from Bali.

The two sided "Kendang" drum is part of many Gamelan ensembles in Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines. This smaller model is just an example, not loud enough for the bigger ensembles. All Kendang drums are played with the bare hands and are placed on a stand. They function as a time meter following the expressions of the performed music.

The Indian drum pair called "tabla" is actually no "real" tabla (this name refers back to the analogon of an ancient Arabian drum) but a set of two drums in different sizes and tunings. The hammer is used to move the tuning pegs of the smaller drum while the bigger is getting tuned by rings and leather stripes. The cussion are just applied for safety and covering dust.
