Outside Panza, near Forio, the Casa d'Ambra winery has brought new life to an ancient
vineyard, replanting it with traditional grape varieties.
Ischia is known as the "green island" - perhaps for its lush vegetation or maybe
because of the green volcanic tufa rocks found on the eastern side of the island,
from which the walls at the right of this picture were built.
