A few pictures taken during special touring exhibitions, and others of items from the
quite incredible collection held by the Museo Archeologico Nazionale (MAN)- gathered
not just at Pompeii and Herculaneum, but from sites all over the Campania region.
After almost 450 years the building is creaking, often there aren't enough staff to open
every one of the exhibition rooms, but nevertheless it's unmissable.... and, unusually
for such places in Italy, closed on Tuesdays!!!
