Poppea's villa - Oplontis
They were digging up the road one day and found this - a whole villa, with frescoed rooms still intact.
In its small way, Poppea's Villa in the town of Torre Annunziata makes an interesting trip - better preserved and more easily understood than the remains at Pompeii, Herculaneum etc.
