Fontana dell'Acqua Paola - again, not for drinking...
Fed by an aqueduct that once ran nearby flour mills and, more recently, powered some
of the city's first electrical generators, the unpalatable waters of this fountain
originate near Lake Bracciano.
They then travel - mostly underground - some 40 miles to Rome, to end up in Piazza
San Bernardo, where this fountain can be seen by those on their way to the Janiculum
