The 'ancient tub'

A granite bath, decorated with a lions head - was originally found in the ruins of a bath house,
and for a while served as a fountain at the end of the Salone branch of the Aqua Virgo - in
Piazza San Marco (itself, today, known as Piazza Venezia).

Moved later, it now stands on a bend in the road that runs down the Pincio Hill, from the
Villa Borghese to Piazza del Popolo - and I've never seen any sign of water!
