Pictured during work on the Metro line, the equestrian statue of the first king of
modern Italy - Vittorio Emanuele II - had sat for a while in 'temporary' storage,
near its former position on the lawns in the centre of Piazza Municipio.
More recently he's been installed in new glory, at the centre of Piazza Bovio, in
front of the Chamber of Commerce building, and near the new 'Universita' station
on the Metro's Linea 1.
