At last, a nice Sunday when we can enjoy an outdoor lunch - accompanied by
that most pleasant of compromises between red and white, a proper rosť wine.
This Sicilian 'rosato' by Feudi Bordonaro of Branciforti is made the hard
way, using only red grapes of the Sangiovese variety... rather than by
blending together some mix of pre-prepared red and white wines.
All that being said, as a 'non tradizionale' product, the official system
of classification only allows it to be rated as a second-tier IGT....
