This pool in the Victoria House is home to a particularly fine specimen of victoria amazonica
- the undisputed queen of waterlilies, whose leaves can reach an enormous six feet in diameter.

Hanging in the foreground are two fabulous creepers - strongylodon macrobotrys, from the
Philippines, with its brilliant emerald green flower clusters... and thumbergia misoriensis,
the red and yellow ones.
