The huge park surrounding the Villa Borghese is one of the city's largest
patches of green - and a popular place for weekend family outings!
As well as the famous museum, the grounds are full of all sorts of interesting
things to discover - few though are as out of place as the full-size (1,250 seat)
reconstruction of Shakespeare's Globe Theatre - much like the one beside the Thames
- that was opened in October 2003.
