The place is 70 km from Hanoi, a journey of about 2 hours by bus or van, then an hour trip by a row boat (usually 3 passengers per boat) upstream for about 4 km, and then lunch at a restaurant (inclusive) before a 1-hour hike well-built rocky steps a distance of 3 km). You can use a cable car, but you won't get the "goodness" for the effort from Buddha. A better choice would be walk up, cable down.
