Kuala Kangsar-Sg Siput Ride 27 Feb 2005

KFC ride from Kuala Kangsar to Chenderoh down towards Sg. Siput and back to KK. Didn't actually reach SS because of lack of time. The route: Kuala Kangsar -> Highway to Grik -> Simpang Lawin -> Chenderoh Junction -> River Ferry -> Karai -> Kuala Kangsar. Heavy rains in the morning, so we couldn't start until 10:00 am. Pleasant ride and only steep slopes are towards Chenderoh. But no struggle compared to Gombak-Genting Sempah or Genting Perez. Highlight of the outing was the ferry ride across Sg Perak with a view of the Chenderoh Dam. Ended with lunch at Riverside in KK town. Sorely missing KFCs: Pedro, Leeburg
