Wonderful gallery. Very nice compositions. The thing I noticed first in the gallery as a whole was your use of color. Not oversaturated or overdone, just very well done...and varied. Nice choices of color schemes and contrast.

Good Job! These pictures that you did are realy impressing. Especilly like the first ones were there is a harmony in colors, the red and green, the spectrum of the bicycle wheels! On the other hand i wish i could visit such a place cause it look that there are many interesting subjects to shoot :) After all it's a different culture for me, a European citizen.....keep on shootin, and don't forget to share 'em with us!

Max, very interesting looking at your work. I'm always interested in the way different photographers look at the same subject matter. I guess that's what makes all of this possible as everything has been photographed but there is always a new view. Keep up the good work, may stumble across you next year when I return.

You and I have covered the same territory, but seen different things. You have details, I have more big pictures, certainly more Buddhas. And yet we have nearly-identical pictures of one detail from Wat Po. Thanks for all your wonderful comments. As a photographer a change of scenery can be very good and in some cases needed. Thailand and Laos provided that this year. Different culures, different textures and colours and of course getting away from work make it possible to be creative. I'm thrilled that everyone is enjoying my vision. Thanks all, it's a pleasure to share these images. I have always found that one of the big challenges with photography is doing something a little different. These areas in Asia are in many ways way "over photographed". Looking a little closer and simplifying a scene often solves some of the challenges.
