I smile when I see tourists streaming past my office in the City of London, heading for the Tower of London, Tower Bridge or the Wren churches
that dot the city. Twenty years ago, I was one of those tourists, gawking at the architecture, both old and new. Now, after living in London for
over 10 years and working in the midst of the City, what I once travelled 4,000 miles to see and photograph has become my daytime neighbourhood.
I now rush past World Heritage Sites, late for a meeting, without noticing they are there.
