_MG_3844 Handsome "Socks"

This stately fellow was found as a kitten in our octogenarian friends' garage, with his right front leg shattered by a shotgun blast. They took him to a veterinarian who had to amputate the badly damaged limb. Having fallen in love with him, Millie and Pat adopted the gorgeous three-legged dynamo who has greatly brightened their lives.

What a lucky lucky kitty to have found this home and have these people to love and take care of him. I could tell you stories about the terrible things that people have done to bunnies! Why some people treat animals the way they do it beyond me! Just like beautiful Kit Kat who someone threw away and was left to survive on the streets.

I find it utterly unbeleibvable that someone could even think of hurting such a defenseless little animal, and even less wanting to kill it. That's barbaric, and to the risk of being mean, I hope the same damn thing happens to the person who did that... I won't shed a beginiing of a tear if I was to learn that he lost a leg or any other member for that matter. This little fur ball will bring unbeleivable joy, happiness and love to Millie and Pat. Their lives will be sooooo blessed by having Socks in their lives. They will wake-up in the morning with a smile and go to sleep at night... with a smile. Gog bless them always for their kind action.

Now the photo... it,s a prize winning shot Isabel, thepose is perfect, the light, the angle... everything is perfect.

How terrible but what a wonderful ending. He has beautiful markings and is, indeed, a very handsome boy. I love the bit of white on his little nose. May your friends be blessed for their loving heart and may Socks live a long and healthy life with his forever family. Mary
