Looks well fed doesn't it? This stinker has been cleaning out my suet cake feeders and homemade suet mix pretty regularly. I'm taking them in now at night, but this feeder was just about empty, so I left it...It was time to put Louie away for the night when I saw him looking out the sliding door as though he was studying something. This is what he was watching. It was too dark for the camera to focus and I had a flash on my 40D with the 17-55 lens on it, so I figured it wouldn't hurt to try shooting through the window at an angle. Because of the double panes of glass there were some serious reflections which I toned down in the darkest areas with a bit of cloning. It may be a bit blotchy but with the vision problem I have it's hard to tell. I had to guesstimate the distance with to the railing with the camera on manual focus, and chose a small f stop, hoping for the best. The next image has another view of this robber.

That little bandit mask is so appropriate, tell me God doesn't have a sense of humor.

Not bad editing considering the conditions for the shot ! Where there's food they will come but not here :-)

We got them too Isabel... they say that what makes them real good bandits is because they have a thumb on their paws, they can grab things... and they're smart too... Have fun but they'll win, they always do. LOL
