As shown in Larry Allan's "Creative Canine Photography" book. Of course he wasn't working with the same lights that I used, but for the record: Main light at the right was a 580ex bounced off an umbrella (sandwich of white, silver behind it and black on the outside), fill light on an off camera cord was another 580ex. Behind Ricky was a little Quantary MS-1 flash covered with a Stofen Omnibounce (on the table) facing the background. Another MS-1 was high over Ricky to the left (hair light). I still got shadows I didn't want and used the dodge tool to remove them. Biggest problem is messy looking glints in the eyes. I have to edit them out.
