with flash...not that dark out! Probably over sharpened. Just haven't been getting super sharp images of these tiny creatures. The XTi sure does purple well!

The purple does look great. The mantis seems to be pondering about what might be around the next corner.

The purple is nice. I'm struggling to get sharp insect pictures also. I find with the tripod, they're moving around too much.
