Can't grow veggies at ground level because critters snatch 'em, thus the big pots. My tomato plants are topping the 4' stakes in the pot, but in all honestly the plants aren't planted 4' deep! I love going out and nearly seeing them grow! You can just get a glimpse of my fuzzy helper behind a pot.
