Original image shot with b/w mode in Canon XT/350D. Converted to Adobe RGB profile in Photoshop. Moved yellow/blue slider 10 points towards yellow side because my experience with Red River Paper and their custom profile for the R800 is that the b/w prints come out a little blue. I printed out the resulting image, took a photo (under my Ottlight desklamp) with my Canon A610 and then opened it up in PS and pasting it over the screen with the image to which I made the color balance correction. Of course this isn't an exact representation of the colors but they're pretty darned close! (Yeah,I know that what you see on the screen of the original image doesn't look too blue - but it would print blue! I would be very happy if I got what I see on the original image!

clever comparison :) The colour cast seems to be most obvious on the wall in this one but not much of a problem in the rest of the picture.
