I had no idea that aphids came in so many colors. Back in New York I only saw light green aphids, but here I've seen them this color, black and green. There are MORE colors:http://www.uga.edu/vegetable/aphids.html I assume they are ALL a pain in the neck! One year they decimated my underlight garden when I inadvertently brought them into the house on an overwintering geranium. Now my geraniums overwinter in the garage.
