_MG_2917 Original

I had no time to change settings in the camera when I saw this hummingbird through the kitchen window. My 300 f/4L was sitting on the counter and I grabbed and shot, before the hummer took off. Mine are not used to people since we rarely use the deck. The raw image was severely underexposed and the auto settings in Adobe Camera Raw raised the exposure by +3.75. I returned the exposure setting to zero and this was in actuality what I captured. The image was extremely noisy. Click on "next" to see what I did with it.
