When I use Noise Ninja for noise reduction of my pet pictures I leave out the animal for the noise reduction because the fur usually hides the noise...especially with black and white. I don't bother to make an exact selection because its impossible with wisps of hair. Click on "next" to see the results of noise reduction the background and applying a very slight amount of sharpening to the cat. (At the displayed size for online viewing I really didn't even need noise reduction.)
