Cats don't seem to have much fear of height or small ledges. Our cat "Tiger" who by the way is the same color as Beegie love to walk along the ledge at the top of the stairs where is about a 20' drop to the bottom of the stairs leading into the lower level. It almost gives me a heart-attack at time.
