The weather has not be conducive to bird shooting. Spotted this pileated way off in the woods and zoomed the lens (almost) all the way out (equivalent almost 600mm). I'm surprised I was able to get some detail in the feathers and eye. I was also pleased with the color since it's so gloomy out. From jpg.
