Fusia Spicy Chicken Sausage Sauté

Indispensable ingredients! Only recently did I become brave enough to use sriracha without fearing that my tongue would go up in flames - just a tiny touch adds so much flavor...and the Sweet Soy Sauce (Indonesian Kecap Manis) performs magic with fried rice and stir fries.

Eating so many vegetables as I have been since deciding to eliminate most carbs like flour and rice, I've been trying for more variety and today spiralized some zucchini and yellow squash, sliced some onions in top to bottom slivers, smooshed some garlic, sliced ONE Fusia Spicy Chicken Sausage from Aldi and made a fabulous stir fry with very few calories.

First, browned the sliced sausage in a little bit of olive oil (not really spicy, tasting more of ginger than anything else, but very good) and removed it from the skillet.

Then sauteed the zucchini, onions and garlic until they softened - adding a tablespoon or two of water to help the sauteeing process. When they were done to my liking I added back the sausage, drizzled a LITTLE sriracha and Sweet soy sauce and throughly mixed those in. Topped it with crushed sesame seed and accompanied the scrumptious results with a cup of jasmine tea. Perfect accompaniment.

It sure looks good but a bit too spicy for me ...
