I should have use the hdr setting in the phone, but found I was able to find detail in the silhouettes of the people in Photoshop. Interesting to note that the flash had little effect in this strongly backlit situation.
This NYC image was taken either on our way to see the World Trade Center Memorial constructions or afterwards, on our way to Chinatown.
