*It's been identified by Ken Wolgemuth of as a leafhopper. (Was initially unidentified)
About 3/16" long and very flat. Hanging out on the rim of my water bowl on the deck. I suspect they are a nymphal form of an insect that will do no good.

These are adult leafhoppers; they are winged.
