_MG_3358 Mystery! (no longer)

Posting this picture of a bent vent pipe which I discovered on our roof this morning.
How in the heck could it have gotten that mangled? (I took the picture with my longest lens because from the ground we really couldn't see it all that well!) Update: Thanks, Jim Thompson for this explanation: Yes, all that you can see is lead flashing. The actual pipe is inside that and PVC. The wrinkles at the bottom are normal. Underneath that it extends out under the surrounding shingles. nothing to worry about.
