It has been hard to get a good exposure of Ricky on this chair because of back lighting and his dark fur. The shadow/highlight indicators in the E-PL5 are very helpful in setting an exposure. Even though he has dark fur I had considerable minus compensation to keep the light areas from blowing out. Focus and shutter click are instantaneous with a touch of the lcd, if you wish, and it's what I used to capture this image. Not crazy about the shape of the E-PL5 and the way it feels in my hands (awkward), but I sure do love the images it produces - and I know I can use ISO 1600 and still get good images.
