Was testing the color of a fleece throw I picked up at K-Mart for $5 to use in an upcoming puppy shoot, using the Canon 580ex bounced off my ceiling. (The throw is now in the dryer since I had to get rid of wrinkles).

Ricky had reflections in his aging eyes that had to be retouched and the eyes were generally too dark. Used the burn tool to darken the reflections and dodge tool to lighten the irises. Also replaced and redid the eye glints because they didn't look good where they were. In general I dodge the iris area opposite to the glints.

Added a vignette with Nik Color Efex Pro and did a bit of dodging on the fur to give me contour to his head.

Finished with a soft blur with Harald Heim's FocalBlade plugin, using a layer mask to bring out sharpness in the eyes and nose.
