Didn't notice the Halogen on the box and thought I was buying a regular 100 watt tungsten bulb. When I went to replace a blown bulb I noticed this one was not only smaller, but the color was slightly different. although it uses only 72 watts it is decidedly brighter than the 100 watt I have in a matching lamp with a different 100 watt bulb.

I was delighted that I didn't see a large pink cast in the center of the image as so often happens with low light phone images. I will have to taste this bulb some more.
