I was fascinated by the "necklace" this lady was wearing at "A Taste of Asheville", put on by the Asheville Independent Restaurant Association (AIR) in "The Venue". We had never been to an event like this before where 40 restaurateurs present small samples of their menus accompanied by wines. As we entered were handed a wine glass to use throughout the event, where you traveled from display to display picking up small dishes of food to sample, having to carry your glass with you, and hoping you would find one of the few tables to lay it down while you ate. (It was so dark in this venue that I was amazed the camera could focus).
