20120926_112801 Heard a thunk from my sliding door

...and found this thrush on its back on my deck. I righted him and placed him on the chair. He couldn't stand upright. I few minutes later he could, but it's been about 15 minutes and he still hasn't taken off. I'm hoping he will. It's the first thrush I've seen in many months. Update: I just went to check at 12:14, and after sitting there with his beak in the netting, he stood up and flew off. Yay! (He first hit the glass at 11:28.)

We often have birds fly into our sliding doors and are quite stunned, most have recovered after a few minutes and fly away. So pleased this little thrush recovered well.
