About a continuous background

The original image has several problems - among them a background that is too light, an angled "horizon" line, and a need for cropping.

After straightening the horizon and vignetting and burning the background, plus cloning to eliminate the line between the background and the dark grey towel, the image has a more integrated look.

Often poorly chosen colors for background and table drapes detract from the subjects because they demand too much attention.

Lighting: two 580ex Canon Speedlights bounced off white umbrellas in front and one 430ex in a softbox on a boom stand pointing down towards Ricky.
