_MG_4762 White Squirrel Eating Dead Bird

Probably killed itself flying into my sliding door. This was a real shock to see. I did a web search and found this isn't so uncommon for squirrels...and sad to learn, they will also raid bird nests and eat both eggs and nestlings!

Je ne pensais pas que les écureuils étaient carnivores à l'occasion. Il a l'air d'aimer son repas. C'est une très belle photo.

Wow, a shock to me as well, I would have never known squirrels were carnivores ! Hum ... there's the proof of it !
