Since there was nothing left on my eggplant for him to eat, I gently pried him loose and placed him on the foliage that my cut-back tomato plant had produced since everything had been harvested...and here he will live out his life as an ever-growing chubby photo op. *I thought it was a tomato hornworm until I learned the diagonal lines and red horn meant it was the tobacco, rather than tomato, hornworm.
