P1060429 Laser Play

There are many situations for which a dslr just won't "cut it". Such is the case of tracking active cats playing with a laser beam. I can't hold the laser pointer in one hand and hold the dslr in the other and shoot...and I wouldn't get enough depth of field with a dslr unless I raised the ISO sky high and shut down the aperture quite a bit. In the case of this image I set the LX3 at Intelligent Auto, held the pointer in my left hand and shot my LX3 with my right

Point in posting this is to share my increasing certainty that I have a heck of a lot more fun with my digicams, especially the LX3!

For this image taken in Intelligent Auto mode I cropped and sharpened the two cats. That was it.
