You can barely see it. I was looking for the unusual side entrance which Carolina Wren nest have, when a bird flew out.
When I turned around to go back in the house, I saw a wren on the deck, one wing spread out, beak down on the deck. It had probably flown into the sliding door. It didn't move. I went into the house to prepare for a burial. When I returned to retrieve the bird its head was turned to the side. I quickly returned inside and got a sprayer bottle of water and tried a light sprinkling of water to revive the bird. It did! I was very happy to put aside my funeral plans. Click on "next"
