Wanted a record of the date I picked my first beefsteak tomato. The image on the right shows blossom end rot. Not all of the tomatoes on this plant have it, thankfully. Update: Did a little research on blossom end rot and it's caused by lack of calcium. Adding lime to the soil when you plant helps prevent it.
