Waiting for the inevitable

Merlin is one of my daughter's two rescued Sphynx cats. He and Goofy must be bathed weekly (or more often) because lacking fur, these cats get dirty very quickly. (The EXIF is missing from this image because I edited it with Picnic in Flickr.)

FujiFilm FinePix F30 Zoom
ISO 1600 (taken in full auto) full exif

other sizes: small medium original

do they tolerate or like the baths? I've never tried bathing my cats! I think I would be torn to shreds. How much water or how do you do it??

He's beautiful, but I have to tell you that those eyes frighten me. He looks like an alien!

What enormous eyes, and how strange looking he is.

He's got a sad look about him: I don't think he likes the notion of his bath!

I like the idea of weighing them before and after the bath.
That's what I call dedication.

You would really have to keep your floors clean with see through scales!

You mean he actually waits for his bath?!?!?

They are such alien looking cats!
