Flying Squirrels

They're supposed to be nocturnal, and the first few images I shot were taken in near complete darkness, but this afternoon I spied one on my birdfeeder, which was filled with black oil sunflower seed. Just as had been my experience photographing them at night, the squirrel was very accepting of my presence, and even allowed a couple of flash shots. It was not freaked by the mirror slap/shutter release noise from the camera.
