The A80 is a lovely camera, but must be watched outside since it tends to overexpose on bright sunny days. A good rule of thumb is to use a minus ev setting of 2/3 when you have lots of bright highlights. Flash performance indoors is excellent, rendering great skin tones. One note of interest: The ISO ratings are very conservative with ISO 50 being much more like 100 and 400, more like 800. Noise is very low (let me rephrase that now that I have the 20D: "reasonable") at higher ISOs.

Update: I've just recently started using the "Sound Memo" feature of the camera to put backgrounds behind some of my images. I find the sound quality quite good. Sadly, the quality of the same feature in my new A610 isn't as good as that of the A80. Much more hiss.
