Shot mainly to practice capturing motion in a low light arena without flash. Didn't want to go lower than ISO1600 and used my fastest longest lens. Depth of field was extremely shallow. Dogs were sharpened. No noise reduction was used because there was little enough detail! Shooting agility requires split second shutter decisions and really accurate focus...and perhaps smaller apertures since the depth of field was definitely an issue in this set! Also, not sure the 1/500 of a second was fast enough to catch these jet-propelled critters.

Nice shots Isabel. Sometimes it's more fun to watch and photograph the dog's "pet humans" at these events!

Good shots, Isabel. And they're not noisy with the ISO at 1600. Trying to digest your settings. :-) These dogs looks like they're really enjoying themselves.

You got some nice action shots here, Isabel. So did that one dog make it over the jump? The one that looks like he jumped too early?
