Canon EF-S 10-22mm Lens

I loved this lens from the very first pictures! Never realized just how much I missed that super wide angle capability, and optically it's pretty darned good too! Hampered at first by a broken shoulder, I couldn't shoot from unique angles...am now more physically fit and it's getting warmer, so I will venture forth and try to use the distortion of wide angle more creatively. OK, you've convinced me to go ahead and get the 10-22mm. I was going to wait for the 17-55mm because of the 2.8 and the IS but then I wouldn't get the ultra-wide perspective. Good to see that even at 10mm the perspective can be adjusted in software if desired. I know the photographer has a lot to do with results but from what I've seen looking at your photos and others the image quality of the 10-22 is superior to the more expensive 17-55. Thanks for sharing your beautiful photos!

It's a very nice lens. Very clear shots. Does this lens work with older digital body like the D30?
